Located at North-East of its counterpart Tower 3 (completed in 2010), this 58-story, 280 meters tall building, is the latest addition to the China World Trade Center in Beijing; Phase 3B features sleek horizontal bands of canted glass that wrap the building resembling a bamboo shoot or a pagoda, as described by designers Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. A total of 3,000 m2 of Perlato Sicilia Cofano® marble - supplied by the MGI Group - were cut to size and installed in all of the tower’s elevator lobbies, connecting almost 12,000 m2 of office space, a hotel and associated amenities.
