Where Are We?

– Key findings:• Among 30 surveys, most students did know that child

abuse was common. • The majority thought that strangers pose greatest

risk to children, but in fact that is not true.• Most were more than willing to donate one dollar to the Children’s Trust Fund to help raise awareness.• Survey takers replied they were more than likely to report child abuse to the authorities.

– Raise awareness and educate of Child Abuse and Neglect for Michigan Children’s Trust Fund.

– Sympathetic, encouraging, and empowering individuals and families to seek and take the first steps.
