Azure Managed Cache Service and Azure In-Role Cache to be retired November 30, 2016 Azure Managed Cache Service and Azure In-Role Cache service will remain available for existing customers until November 30, 2016. After this date, Managed Cache Service will be shut down, and In-Role Cache service will no longer be supported.

On February 1, 2016, Azure DocumentDB will move from global to regional meters. As part of this transition, the resource GUIDs for DocumentDB will also change.

Upcoming maintenance will affect multi instance deployments of Microsoft Azure Virtual Machines (IaaS) and Cloud Services (PaaS). During the planned maintenance window, Cloud Service Web and Worker role instances and IaaS Virtual Machines (VMs) in an availability set may experience a graceful shutdown, approximately fifteen minutes of downtime, and a subsequent reboot.

General availability: Azure App Service Mobile AppsThe Mobile Apps feature in Azure App Service is now fully supported with a 99.95-percent service-level agreement (SLA).

General availability: Azure SchedulerWith this release, users can access all of the Scheduler features through the UI, including • advanced schedules, • error action configuration, • and the retry policy.

Static public IP addresses available for Azure virtual machinesStatic public IP addresses can now be assigned to a virtual machine (VM) in the Azure Resource Manager deployment model. Until now, only a dynamic public IP address was assignable to the network adapter of the VM.

Automation: Configure checkpoints in graphical runbooksYou can now set checkpoints for graphical runbooks in Azure Automation.  Each activity in a graphical runbook has a configuration where you can choose a checkpoint for the runbook when the activity completes.  This is a feature of Automation workflows that allows you to save the state of a runbook job so that previous activities won’t be repeated if the runbook job needs to restart.
