YORKTOWN LODGE # 2324
MID HUDSON DISTRICT # 6180
Members All:
We are starting the 2010/2011 Elk year on a stable founda-tion. Although I personally cannot take credit for this accom-plishment I am extremely proud that it has occurred during my tenure as E.R. While we all should be commended for our current success this should only be viewed as a starting point. We must use the time ahead to improve our financial position. Thanks to our many volunteers bingo has been performing exceptionally well. We at Yorktown Lodge greatly appreci-ate your efforts. Keep up the good work Our annual golf outing is just around the corner. A lot of hard work is put into this event. Please make an effort to attend. It is always an enjoyable day. Special Olympics is always looking for additional volun-teers. Allocating a few hours of your time for those less for-tunate is a truly rewarding experience. See you at the lodge Andy
On April 3, the officers of our
Lodge were in-stalled by offi-
cers from Brew-ster and Haver-straw Lodges.
Andy Tumolo accepted the

SPECIAL MESSAGE
When our seasons change from Spring into Summer, our world in the northeast awakens with a new growth of grass, trees and flowers in a colorful display of natures beauty.
We also look forward to the warmer weather and begin our own preparations around our homes for the upcoming days of relaxation outdoors with our relatives, friends and neighbors.
This should also be a time for reflection as we honor those we love and some folks that may have been forgotten. Let’s take the time to honor Mom & Dad on their special day, and to remember those who made the supreme sacrifice for the freedoms we enjoy every day of our lives.
