Captain William Radomski

Commanding Officer

Captain William R. Radomski is a native of Niagara Falls, New York. He was awarded a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Marquette University in 1983 and commissioned through the Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps. He also holds a Master of Science in Administration from Central Michigan University. He was designated a Naval Flight Officer in 1984.

Captain Radomski's initial tour was with Patrol Squadron Forty-Five in Jacksonville, Florida. He served in three subsequent tours in Patrol Aviation, culminating in command of Patrol Squadron Sixteen in Jacksonville. He also was assigned sea duty to Commander Seventh Fleet in Yokosuka, Japan.

Ashore, Captain Radomski had assignments at Patrol Squadron Thirty and Commander Patrol Wing Eleven in Jacksonville, Commander Patrol and Reconnaissance Forces, Sixth Fleet in Naples, Italy and Commander, Special Operations Command, Tampa, Florida.

He is currently assigned as the Commanding Officer and Professor of Naval Science at Marquette University Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps.

His awards include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal (two awards) and various other decorations.

Executive Officer

Lieutenant Colonel Janet Keech

Lieutenant Colonel Keech was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps in May, 1989 through the Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps (NROTC) Program at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. She completed The Basic School at Quantico, Virginia, in March 1990, was designated as a Logistics Officer, and completed the Basic Logistics Officer Course at Little Creek, Virginia in August 1990.

2nd Lt Keech was next assigned to Second Supply Battalion, Second Force Service Support Group, Camp Lejeune, NC. Here she served as the Maintenance Management Officer, Headquarters and Service Company Commander, and S-4 Officer. 1stLt Keech then transferred to Marine Corps Base, Quantico, VA where she served in the Environmental Affairs Branch, Facilities Division. Next, she transferred to 4th Recruit Training Battalion, Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, SC. During this tour, Capt Keech held the billets of Series Commander, Company Commander, and Regimental S-3A. Following intermediate level school and completion of her masters degree, Capt Keech transferred to Marine Corps Systems Command to serve as an Acquisition Logistician. Maj Keech's final tour prior to reporting to Marquette University was with III Marine Expeditionary Force in Okinawa, Japan. As the G-4 Plans and Operations Officer, she participated in multiple exercises in Korea, Thailand, Australia, and the Philippines, as well as conducting two real-world humanitarian missions in response to typhoons and the tsunami.

This year marked the 31st annual running of the Al's Run BK for the benefit of Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. Each year MU NROTC provides a team to run and also supports other runners through their cadences.

232nd Birthday Ball

On October 12, 2008, our Midshipmen donned their uniforms and picked up their dates to go to the 232nd Birthday Ball to celebrate the birthday of both the Navy and the Marine Corps. This year's ball was located at the Downtown Double Tree Hotel.
