Factorial Design 2 Factors
A company wishes to consider changing the way in which one of the materials that it usesin its fabrication process is made. Two subcontractors are invited to make five samplesprepared by the old method, five samples prepared by the new method I and five samplesprepared by the new method II. The response is the tensile strength of the material and ahigher value is desirable.
1. Is there a significant difference between the methods?2. Is there a significant difference between the suppliers?
3. Is there evidence of interaction?
