SUMMARY I have 9 years’ experience as an environmental advisor and coastal engineer, and have

demonstrable experience and skills in environmental engineering, consulting, management and contractor management. I have worked on a range of large marine capital works projects in a number of various engineering and environmental multidiscipline teams and capacities, including client, EPCM, consultant and contractor, and as such have an excellent awareness of project management from all aspects.

I have a strong technical background in project management, environmental engineering, EMS implementation, environmental assurance and documentation. EXPERIENCE Environmental Advisor (Wheatstone LNG – Subsea Installation) Chevron (Wheatstone Upstream), Perth, WA - May 13 - Current

Environmental advisor for the Subsea Installation Contract (SIC) on the Wheatstone (Upstream) LNG Project:

Responsible for: • Management and coordination of the subsea Contractor’s project EMS implementation and

delivery against project environmental basis of design and regulatory requirements; • Provide SME environmental advise, consultation and support to subsea installation, flowline,

hookup and commissioning and dredging scope; • Development, review and implementation of Environmental Management Plans, including

use of ALARP to develop Environmental Performance Standards for environmental risks; • Ensure contractor performance results in a compliance to legislation, project approvals,

Chevron Environmental Performance Standards, MARPOL, IMO, Oil spill response, IMS and biosecurity, waste, terrestrial, water quality and benthic requirements;

• Distilling the project environmental BOD into key project documentation, dissemination of these requirements to engineers, and regular self-auditing against the design requirements;

• Ensuring engineering requirements and BOD are included in environmental risk management processes and Environmental Performance Standard development;

• Input into and interpretation of oil spill modelling to develop and implement controls and procedures to manage risks;

• Provide input and work with Contractor on process safety and environmental risk management (Risk Assessments, ENVIDs, HAZIDs etc); and,

• Interpretation, guidance and practical working knowledge of W.A. Environmental Regulations and Legislative requirements and framework, dissemination of Wheatstone commitments and regulatory approval conditions.

• Auditing and inspections of contractor environmental management systems and vessels prior to mobilisation and during operations to ensure compliance with Project and regulatory requirements;

• Successfully bringing together engineering and environmental teams development of project environmental approvals using a risk based and ALARP approach;

• Developed and implemented an online Marine Fauna Observers training course to streamline existing training processes and ensure achievement of compliance, resulting in +$1 million in cost savings.

monitoring network for the trenching and burial of a 2.1km HV submarine Cable; • Extensive fieldwork coordination and experience, including management and operation of

project vessel and crew and the development, implementation and progression of HSE systems for construction sites and plant

• Achieved successful monitoring plan preparation and regulatory approval, sub-contractor management, EPL licence development and negotiation of project conditions with regulatory authorities in conjunction with client.

WorleyParsons Kooragang Coal Export Terminal Expansion– Water Quality Monitoring

Project Manager - $1million + contract • Successful delivery of a 4 year real time water quality monitoring to investigate the impacts

of dredging on a range of water quality parameters within the Lower Hunter River, detailed analysis of data and river hydrology and reporting of impacts on environmental quality.

WorleyParsons Sydney’s Desalination Pipeline – Environmental Monitoring Coastal Engineer - $2million + contract • Successfully carried out an 2 ½ year integrated real-time water quality and foreshore

monitoring program for the installation of twin 1400mm marine pipes under the seabed across various construction stages including included dredging and disposal operations, wharf construction and removal, and subsea tunnel boring machine recovery.
