TELSTRA, BRISBANE– 2010 – PRESENT
Business specialist (current)
Advising senior leaders from O2A NBN on key trends and challenges. Planning and managing the NBN
Operational Governance forum which discusses challenges and strengths with Director+ level cross
company stakeholders. Affirming confidence in the strategic plan through high level communications.
Responsible for preparing the Business Performance Review, Chief Operation Officer Weekly Report,
Weekly Newsletter, Board reports and various other ad hoc cross company updates.
- Assisted Director John Parkin in planning and developing the O2A NBN FY17 Business plan
through collaboration with key program, finance and operational stakeholders.
- Built an operational report used by executives to highlight key trends and challenges.
Reporting Specialist
Co-led the CSD NBN Service Chain War Room which resulted in key relationships being established and
working parties launched to drive cross business improvements across the NBN Activation process.
Installed and managed a reporting rhythm for NBN O2A Operations which provides an intimate
understanding of key reporting measures, insights and opportunities.
Project Manager
- Led the ADSL Port Express program which provided 7000 + additional customers with ADSL, an
improvement in port utilisation of at least 20 days and a 60% reduction in ADSL delay related complaints through implementing a customer centric held order process and a new held order
queue.
- Co-led the ADSL One Step project which led to a 5 point increase in ADSL S&A episode NPS, a
two day decrease in ADSL activation cycle time and a $1.2 M annual benefit.
- Awarded a Chief Operating Officer Award for the above achievement.
- Managed a cross BU team to deliver improvements to the Clean Ticket of Work (CTOW) process
which resulted in a ~50% reduction in dirty tickets being rescheduled one day before the
appointment.
Principal Business Specialist
Six month secondment working as the Principal Business Specialist to Director John Parkin where I
attended meetings and filtered information, developed O2A’s business priorities, pain points and end
state vision regularly contributed to senior leader communication updates.
Graduate Business Analyst
I started in Telstra as a Graduate Business Analyst where I got a taste of problem solving and data
analysis under the Test and Fulfilment BU (CSD). During this time I was responsible for reporting insights
and management of a CT incentive scheme and then Assurance casual analysis.
