CLOSE QUARTERS COMBAT

The Military EDGED-IMPACT WEAPON SYSTEM is a combative

skills program in Close Quarters Combat (CQC) tactical

doctrine specifically formulated for military combat arms

and special operation forces. This system provides theoperator complete strategies, tactics and skills for the

use of combat weaponry in the entire operational continuum

of modern combat.

STRATEGY AND TACTICS

The Military EDGED-IMPACT WEAPON SYSTEM/CQC parallels

military combat doctrine to close with and destroy the

enemy by fire (Edged-Impact weaponry offensive and counter-

offensive strikes) and maneuver (footwork and mobility) or

repel the enemys assault by fire and close combat.

The strategic and tactical equation of this system is close

quarter in-fighting against multiple enemy combatants based

on the use of the blade. The essence of this equation is

the continual combative process of offense, counter-offense

and recounter-offense.

The distinguishing characteristic of Edged-Impact Weapon

System CQC is the principle that weaponry is instructed

first and then progresses in the final stage to Empty-hand

and Firearms skills. The strategic reasoning behind this

structure is that:

(1) The nature of conflict and warfare is the utilizationof weaponry not empty hands.

(2) Attribute development the use of weaponry and bladed(edged) weapons in particular, develops and enhances

combative techniques and applications at a more

intensive level and faster rate than empty hands

training.

(3) The Edged-Impact Weapon CQC system of Empty-handscombat are derived directly from the application of

weaponry versus having completely different methods of

empty hand and weaponry technique.

The Military EDGED-IMPACT WEAPON SYSTEM educates the

operator in weaponry skills with bladed, impact, and other

edged weapons that directly transfer in application to

empty hands combat and back to weaponry including tactical

Edged-Impact Weaponry combat techniques are tactically

formulated on three (3) principles of application:

The Military EDGED-IMPACT WEAPON SYSTEM is comprised of:

COMBAT BOLO / CLOSE-QUARTERS BOLOThe Combat Bolo is the primary edged weapon for both combat

and survival. The range, speed and power of the Combat

Bolo gives the operator a decisive tactical and

psychological advantage over the enemy in close quarters

combat. The Combat Bolo is the primary edged weapon

employed for sentry neutralization.

COMBAT KNIFE / CLOSE-QUARTERS KNIFEThe combat Knife serves as the secondary edged weapon for

combat and survival. Combat knifefighting tactics dictate

speed, sensitivity and immediate action at extreme close

quarters combat range. The combat Knife can be utilized as

the primary or backup sentry neutralization weapon.

field expedient weapons (Edged, Impact, Flexible,

Projectile, etc.) found in all operational environments.
