Woodmills were fixtures of early industrial production for over 2,000 years, and dotted the landscape

of America prior to the Revolutionary War. Obsolete today with the advent of electrical power, some

mills nonetheless remain in operation, and have been preserved. It is from this handful of surviving

mills that Mediterranea got its inspiration for the MILLWORKS series, which blends 21st century

technology with the rustic design heritage of days gone by.

In the 12” x 48” size, Millworks is an all-new, innovative concept in wood-look tile flooring, leveraging

the advantage of a large-format porcelain tile plank like never before. The intricate wood design in

Millworks is impossible to replicate in individual tiles; Mediterranea has achieved this remarkable

look with its exclusive Dynamic HD Imaging inkjet technology. With precision, a medley of rustic

wood grains is imprinted in various sizes on each piece of the tile plank. When installed, Millworks

tiles combine to create an amazing and intricate wood flooring look. Each tile features precision-cut

rectified edges, so grout joints can be kept to a minimum. The finished product has the appearance

of a prized and perfectly-preserved wood floor, while featuring the ease of maintenance that only a

porcelain tile can offer.

For wall and backsplash installations, Millworks is also offered as an Italian-made ceramic wall tile

in a 4” x 12” size, perfect to complement a companion flooring installation, or as a beautiful accent

in its own right.

With the 12” x 48” floor tile proudly made in the USA, Millworks is available in 4 colors specially

selected from the rich grains found in American lumber to perfectly evoke the rustic color spectrum

of rural America: Canyon timber, Driftwood, Mountain Pine, and Wine Barrel. With a look never

before seen in a porcelain tile, Millworks series from Mediterranea brings a timeless rustic look and

feel to your design project.
