Dual Degree and AffiliationMilligan College and the Bill Gatton College ofPharmacy at East Tennessee State University(GCOP) have established a dual degree andaffiliation agreement that shortens the timestudents can earn both their bachelor’s and theirpharmacy degrees.

Students can complete three years of the AlliedHealth major and general education requirements,and then, if accepted, begin pharmacy school.Successful completion of one year of thepharmacy program would in turn satisfy therequirements for a bachelor of science degreefrom Milligan, allowing students to complete abachelor’s degree at Milligan and a doctorate(Pharm.D.) from ETSU in as few as seven years.

Students can also receive a guaranteed interviewat GCOP by meeting the conditions of theagreement, which includes prerequisitecoursework, GPA, and PCAT requirements.Students must also submit their PharmCasapplication and supporting documents ondeadline. FacultyMilligan’s science and math faculty have doctoraldegrees from Tennessee, UCLA, Michigan State,Iowa State, and Penn State. They are recognizedand published scholars, and most importantly,they are excellent teachers and caring mentors.

Facilities & EquipmentAn entire building is devoted to biological,physical, and chemical sciences at Milligan. TheScience Building has five 24-station labs, multipleclassrooms, and a gross anatomy lab.
