• A national mini enterprise competition

• Challenging teams of employees to turn an initial seed funding investment into a profit of up to £10,000.

• Exciting tool to engage your staff, guaranteed to put each participant’s business acumen and entrepreneurial skills to the test while motivating and inspiring them in a uniquely creative environment.

How does it work?

• Teams must plan, promote and implement mini enterprises.

• The team will work together to develop an idea and business plan presented to a ‘Dragons’ Den’ style panel.

• Once accepted, the team is given up to £1,500 investment which they will be responsible for safeguarding.

What support will my team get?

• A team-building event -the chance to meet other teams and be fully briefed by The Trust.

• A Prince’s Trust staff member will support your team throughout the challenge.

• Networking and skills development events will provide additional support during the six month period.

How much will this cost us?• There is no financial outlay required from

you at any point in the challenge.

• The Prince’s Trust will make the initial investment of up to £1,500 for each team.

• To safeguard our funds, the company will be required to underwrite this upfront capital investment. (To date no team has ever defaulted on its original investment)

How much time will the team need to dedicate to the challenge?• The challenge runs from June 2012 –

January 2013

• The group will meet independently every month over the duration of the challenge.

• The time required would vary from team to team depending on the nature of their activities.
