MineDSi is a geological, geochemical, and geophysical data viewing platform that incorporates core photographs, field data, and lab resultsAt the core of MineDSi, and in its most basic form, MineDSi is a core logging software interface that is operated using a PC laptop or Windows enabled tablet. It provides a highly flexible and customizable platform from which the user can log core electronically alongside photographic strip logs created by the software.

A customized photo stand unit can be supplied that ensures high quality photographs with consistent professional lighting for a variety of core box sizes.

SUPPORT BVM provides on-site and remote support and training for MineDSi through all stages of software implementation to ensure a smooth deployment on any scale of project.

Operation OptionsOption 1 n Users work from MineDSi on individual laptops or tablet PCs. It’s ideal for smaller projects where people tend not to log simultaneously and requires periodic uploading of MineDSi data to a local or remote server, or master MineDSi database. Less hardware required, and internet connection not required.

Option 2 n Users work from the BVM mobile server which syncs with a remote server. Work can be done offline and uploaded when the network is available, but requires at least intermittent internet service. No software needs to be installed on personal devices. It’s ideal for large scale projects where several loggers are working at the same time.

Efficiency and time savingsIn addition to increased accuracy of core descriptive data, users can expect to see an increase in logging speed with MineDSi. Best practices are built directly into the system along with efficient data entry features to optimize workflow. Other efficiencies include the ability to view data remotely in real-time and execute automated QC procedures on the fly.

Increased Core Logging AccuracyWith assay data, core descriptions can, for example, be checked against alteration indices to determine if loggers are accurately describing core. Drop-down options for core descriptions can be locked down to all but a few individuals to prevent variable descriptions from one logger to another.

Secure database and storageMineDSi can import assay data files or link directly with BVM’s WebAccess to easily view assay results associated with samples collected along the drill core. MineDSi can also accept the import of ASD Halo-generated mineralogical data.
