In order for candidates to stand a reasonable chance of securing entry-level employment in the Superyachting industry they will need to undergo the following training and certification:

Minimum requirement for all positions:

STCW 95 Basic Training incorporating the following: Basic Fire Fighting and Fire Prevention Elementary First Aid Personal survival Techniques Personal Safety and Social Responsibility

ENG 1 Medical certification

Valid Passport with required visas (Shenghen and/or B1/B2) Recommended additional certification for all positions:

VHF Licence

Competent Crew Course

Day Skipper Certification

RYA Power Boat Level 2 Certification

Basic Diesel Engine Course Recommended additional certification for deck positions

Coastal Skipper Certification

RYA Yachtmaster Offshore Certification Recommended additional certification for engineering positions
