    Minutes of Parish MeetingWednesday 28th September 2015

    3. Minutes of Last MeetingThe minutes of the meeting held on the 24thJune, 2015 were approved.

    Proposed Peter Rowlands, Seconded Ann Candlish.

    4. Matters Arising From Previous Meeting

    (i) A request has been made to Nottinghamshire County Council for theclearance of overgrown footpaths within the Parish boundary. The clerk

    has circulated a map detailing the acknowledged footpaths with theircounty numbers via email to parishioners.

    5. Correspondence

    (i) The clerk reported to the meeting that the Parish accounts had receiveda positive independent audit result from Grant Thornton the appointedauditors.

    6. Planning Applications The Old Vicarage, Church Lane, South Scarle

    Following a review of the plans, subsequent representations and discussions themeeting voted on the proposed Driveway re-instatement to Main Street, includingnew gate and fences, The Old Vicarage, Church Lane as follows:-

    Support 6 Do Not Support 28 Abstentions 2

    The Parish therefore did not support the application and will indicate accordingly toNewark and Sherwood District Council Planning Department.

    7. Election of Vice Chair

    At the previous meeting a proposal to create the role of Vice Chair was acceptedand consequently nominations were requested for candidates for the post. Twonominations were received and a vote taken at the meeting. The results ofwhich were as follows:-

    Peter Rowlands 10 Votes Peter Severn 26 Votes

    Peter Severn was therefore elected to the post of Vice Chair
