Minutes of the 71st meeting of the Committee Constituted for Deciding the Consent under Orange Category, held on 06.08.2008 in the

Conference Room of Chairman, DPCC.

Agenda Item No.1- ATR of previous meetings

This item could not be taken up by the Committee due to paucity of time.

Agenda Item No.2 - Personal hearing of Construction of commercial building at Plot No 2, City Centre, Sector-13, Dwarka by M/s Nettles Farms Pvt. Ltd.

The unit came for personal hearing today and assured that it will file the documents asked vide letter dated 06.06.2008 within a week. Call for personal hearing on 20.08.2008, at 6.45 PM.

Table Agenda Item No 1: Aditya Mall, CBD Ground, Near Karkardooma Court, Delhi-92

The unit appeared before Committee during the CMC meeting. He has filed a representation before Hon’ble Chief Minister, which was received and shown to all the Committee members today. The Committee deliberated on the lenient view representation of the unit and decided that since it was a small unit and was running only one mall, the damages could be readjusted to 1 % of the total project cost and Bank Guarantee would be decided only after the damages of Rs. 20 Lakhs is paid before 12.08.2008. Call on 12.08.2008 for a final decision.

Table Agenda Item No 2 : Complaint against the pollution caused by construction at premises R-41, Greater Kailash Part-I from Shri R.P. Joneja through L.G. office.

The file of this unit was submitted to the Chairman administratively and it was decided to take up this as a table agenda. As the unit has not filed reply, notice for closure may be issued immediately without waiting for the minutes.

Table Agenda Item No 3 : Two units namely Sh. Rajesh Singhal, B – 22, Group, WIA engaged in pickling and Sh. Naresh Jain, B – 72/4, Eastern side engaged in pickling were taken up by the Committee as table agenda as they were found by the SIT, during their inspection, that both the units are in operation without any consent of DPCC and pollution control measures. Looking at the blatant violation by the units, closure directions may be issued, invoking the rules 34 (6) and 20 A (6) of Water Rules and Air Rules, for disconnection of power/water supply.
