I. Health Sector Group Workplan and Trust Fund

Draft HSG workplan & update on RMTF funding envelope and work program discussed.

The workplan will be revised and sent for final comments due on Thursday, 16 April.

APLMA Secretariat (options for the future) will be discussed in a separate meeting. II. Operational Plan for Health

OPH launch will be on 5 June, 9:00am-9:30am to use the planned Asia Health Observatory event held at ADB for bigger audience. HSGS will coordinate with HSG on launch agenda.

Update on OPH RETA (Proj. No. 49152-001: Universal Health Coverage for Inclusive Growth: Supporting the Implementation of the Operational Plan for Health 2015-2020) discussed. TA will include team members from each RD and HSGS will closely coordinate with RDs on TA design.

Overview about upcoming health sector events discussed.

Debriefing on Accountability Loop for Health Budget Advocacy (6-10April) and on Health Brownbag Seminar on Health Accounts: Informing Universal Health Coverage in Asia and the Pacific (13 April) discussed.

IV. Other Items

Opportunities and plans for skills development (external, internal, & self-study) discussed - Skills assessment & areas of preferred specialization to be requested from HSG.

Suggestions for Centers of Excellence (NUS, SNU, IHPP, University of Tokyo) for KSSC round table in Manila on 22 May discussed.

Next HSG meeting will discuss ADBs health security flagship program, and options for APLMA Secretariat.
