animeo: THE MANAGEMENT OF DYNAMIC FACADES SYSTEMThe facade of a building is the main place where thermal exchanges occur between the inside and the outside. Whatever their principles

may be, when the sunshading and opening devices are motor-driven and automated, these exchanges can be controlled. With its

animeo range, Somfy provides a complete and upgradeable solution which optimizes thermal and visual comfort and the energy

performance of the building. The living and working conditions of the occupants are improved whereas the costs incurred by cooling,

heating and artificial lighting are brought down. animeo automatically controls all the possible combinations of shading and opening

devices. The software reacts in accordance with a set time scheduling and depending on the climatic conditions as relayed by weather

sensors. However, due to this system being also compatible with RTS (Radio Technology Somfy), the user is able to regain control at any time

he/she wishes. The Management of Dynamic Facades, a concept developed by Somfy and materialized by animeo, is an approach to strive

for environmental comfort. Moreover, in some conditions, correctly managing the facade reduces investment in air-conditioning and

heating installations . An animeo solution exists for every tertiary building — from the smallest to the largest.
