MISE-EN-SCENE
Mise-en-scene encompasses the most recognizable attributes of a film - the setting and the actors; it includes costumes and makeup, props, and all the other natural and artificial details that characterize the characters filmed. The term is borrowed from a French theatrical expression, meaning roughly "put into the scene". In other words, mise-en-scene describes the stuff in the frame and the way it is shown and arranged. The props used in my movie for example the witch's clothes and the candle portrays that the girl is a witch. The copy and note books in Charlie's hand shows that he is a nerdy boy of his school. My location is showing that the story is sighted in a college where students are working, doing science projects, and even gossiping.
