Spring-Summer 2013 wardrobe, designed by Aurelyen, mixes strong seasonal pieces with chic and timeless basics. Sophistication, passion for details, and comfort are the key-words of this collection, build upon different stories, that melt and oppose themselves, according to the desires and assumed contradictions of the young urban woman.
Aurelyen has imagined an explosive cocktail of colors, at the exact
opposite of the urban landscape greyness and the ambient gloom, a real “colortherapy”, as he likes to say. Thus, orange becomes coral, blue is cyan, yellow resolutely solar, and green is menthol. As for pink, it’s fluorated and plays the “pink flush” card, on a jacket that we easily imagine becoming one of this season must-have… Knitwearwise, Misericordia dusts the preppy cardigan: let’s make room for creation and gourmet colors. For a supercharged effect, the looks are two-colored, even three, and we dare the faded skinny jeans. Ultra contemporary, this slightly acid neon is alternately elegant or more casual, but always feminine.
To perfect this sensation of freshness, sea air, the one of the beautiful
Pacific coast of Lima, is blowing through Misericordia creations. Aurelyen revisits this timeless theme, in an uncluttered version, alternating with wave-printed tee-shirt, immaculate white, openworked knitwear, and blue declensions.
At sea or on land, the call for adventure is never far away with
Misericordia, and this summer it’s stronger than ever ... The Peruvian brand invites us on a stunning journey, to the heart of the mountains and deserts of Latin America. Natural colors have the place of honor: khaki, terracotta, beige and cream appear on a Modal top or on Pima cotton knitwear. We unbutton, roll up and superimpose, for both practical and aesthetic reasons. Then, a chic adventurer look, with simple luxury, emerges.
Great novelty of the season, blue jeans – for a western shirt or a dress - teams up with an anthracite perfecto, zipped skinny-jeans and a loose cut tee-shirt ,in a subtly neo-grunge spirit. Transparency effects, and “pencil” grey are, of course, in. Aurelyen reappropriates classic codes, and gives them a second life: the timeless white shirt and the pleated dress - although falling below the knee - are no longer the prerogative of a wise style, but, on the contrary, perfect a charismatic modern punkette look. In total look or associated with flashy colors, we mix and superimpose, with the sophisticated nonchalance that only fashionistas have the secret.
Followers of chic minimalism will opt for the uncluttered "little black
dresses” – tank or shirt cut - combined with androgynous jackets, designed by Aurelyen, and made with passion by the talented tailoress of La Cabaña de Alta Costura Misericordia. Well thought contrasts, a desire of “exalting the femininity," says the designer.
At last, the tee-shirt is more noble than ever. It comes in Modal and is
adorned with paintings, among the most poetic of Aurelyen, like this flight of birds. A poetic and light refrain, to the model cut… Misericordia, thus, reinvents the casual silhouette, making it always more light and sensual, thanks to the breathable Modal fiber and the softness of Pima cotton.
