IDRAC - AIM Academic Exchange ProgramTheAgreement(originallysignedin2007)betweenAsia-PacificInstituteofManagementandInternationalSchoolofBusiness(IDRAC),
Lyon,FranceformutualbenefitofStudentsoftheseInstitutionsandpromotionofFacultyExchangehasbeencontinuedinthecurrent
academicsession.ThepurposeofthisAgreementistodevelopscholarlyexchangebetweenIndiaandFranceinthesharedconviction
thatsuchexchangescontributetowardsbuildingInternationalfriendshipandunderstandingtopromoteglobalawarenessamongthe
participantsbywayofimpartingManagementEducationattheInternationallevelundertheExchangeprogram.
The programme has two major Components
A. Students ExchangeTheprogramhasbeenverysuccessfulinthepastandstudentswhoattendedtheprogramclaimthatthiskindofexposureisextremely
usefultostudentsinthelong-runfromtheircareerperspectives.During2010-2011Academicsessions,12studentsofIDRAC,Lyon,France
haveattendedandsuccessfullycompletedPGDM(InternationalBusiness)SpecializationProgramatAsia-PacificInstituteofManagement.
Similarly,abatchof13PGDM(InternationalBusiness)studentsfromtheAsia-PacificInstituteofManagement,havealreadycompleted
theiradvancedcoursesinInternationalBusinessareas(ExecutiveMBA)atIDRAC,Lyon,FranceduringtheWinterSession(January-May,
2011).AsanincentivetoundergoinghigherstudyinFrance,theInstitute(AIM)hasprovidedaScholarshipamountofRupees1lakheach.
Fortheacademicsession2013-14atotalof8IDRACstudentshavealreadyjoinedtheIstyearofthesessioninJuly,2013.Asagesture
ofreciprocation,itisplannedtosend10AIMstudentstostudyatIDRACduringthewintersessioninJanuary2014underthestudents
ExchangeProgramme.
B. Faculty Exchange for IDRAC - MBA ProgramItisproposedtoexchangeFacultybetweenIDRACandAIMforthepurposeofTeachingCoursesaswellasGuidingstudentsforInternship
andResearchprojectsbothinIndiaandFrance.
