Govt Schools adoption for 2016-17

Currently carrying out critical interventions in 58 rural government schools in TN, benefiting 34,000+ students.

A project for direct intervention in 460 Govt. schools in Kuppam, Chittoor Dt., AP is underway benefiting over 38000 children and 2000 Govt. teachers.

We look forward to expansion of Govt school interventions in Tamil Nadu/Andhra Pradesh

Cost per school approx. Rs.5 lakhs – Budget for Cluster of 5 schools will be approx Rs.25 lakhs/annum. We expect funding support for a minimum period of 3 years.

Impact Stories/Sharing

Harini is the daughter of an electrician who earns Rs.200/- as his daily wage and he gets to earn only for 15 - 20 days in a month. His irregular income does not meet the family expense and they live under the poverty line. Her mother is a house wife. Harini also has a younger sister Swetha studying in UKG in Isha Vidhya under the scholarship program.
