Box 910 Hobe Sound, FL 33475 Tel: (772) 545-1255 | Fax: (772) 545-1204 | www.bgcmartin.org PROGRAM IMPACT 4 CLUBS Each of our Clubs has developed strong partnerships within their local schools and communities to support families, youth, and teens. 6,663 YOUTH IMPACTED Ages 6-18 , includes 1,703 registered members, 579 students served by AmeriCorps, and 4,381 through outreach. 27 AMERICORPS MEMBERS assisted students in 5 middle schools through mentoring, tutoring, family involvement, and teacher support. OVER 109,118 MEALS SERVED Free, healthy, and nutritious meals and snacks served to Club members. $527,960 TOTAL SCHOLARSHIPS granted for membership and summer programming (both partial and full). 3,744 COMMUNITY SERVICE HOURS completed by Club teen members, contributing to our community. Since 1991, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Martin County has fulfilled its mission of enabling all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens. Our vision is to provide a world-class Club Experience that assures success is within reach of every young person who enters through our doors, with all members on track to graduate from high school with a plan for the future, demonstrating good character and citizenship, and living a healthy lifestyle. Academic Success 83% of Club members received mostly B’s or better. 88% of teens plan to complete Post-Secondary Education. 94% of parents agree that due to academic support offered at the Club, their child is better prepared for school. Healthy Lifestyles 93% of Club members were physically active for a total of 60 minutes per day. 79% of Club members eat 3 or more fruits and vegetables daily. 95% of families agree that their child has developed a better understanding of positive lifestyles and healthy behaviors due to Club programming. Good Character & Citizenship 91% of members stood up for what is right, even when their friends disagreed. 64% of teenage members volunteered at least once per month. 83% of Club members are good at organizing a team of kids to do a project. 2018-2019 IMPACT

Members learn the six pillars of character: trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship.

Members ages 14 to 18 receive training to boost academic success, career preparation, and community service.

Members learn how to navigate the challenges of social and academic pressures, like making responsible decisions, managing stress, and coping with anger.

BGCMC’s premier recognition program! One exceptional Club member is selected to be Youth of the Year, serving both an exemplary ambassador and as a strong voice for all of our young people.
