Mathew 28:19 Shirley Caesar - “Go”
Go ye therefore and teach all nations, go, go, go Go ye therefore and teach all nations, go, go, go Baptizing them in the Name of the Father The Son and Holy Ghost, go, go, go
If you love Me, really love Me, feed My, My sheep If you love Me, really love Me, feed My sheep Lord, I'll be with You forever and ever Until the end of the world, go, go, go
After Jesus had tabernacled here for 40 days It was nearing the time that He must go back to the Father And the Bible gives us to know that one day Out on a lowly hill with 11 disciples standing around Him No doubt one of the disciples said, "Lord must you go?" Jesus said, "If I go not the Comforter will not come, but in the meantime I'm not gonna leave you comfortless
But I want you to go ye therefore and teach all nations And I want you to baptize them in the name of the Father In the name of the Son, in the name of the Holy Ghost Teaching them to observe all things Go, go, go
Go ye therefore and teach all nations, go, go, go Baptizing them in the name of the Father The Son and Holy Ghost Go, go! Go, go! Go, go, go!
Growing up listening to this song, I never thought I would be preaching and I certainly didn’t know what “go” meant. Join us this week as we unpack these questions:
Where do we need to go? What are we going to do? Who are we going for? Why are we going?

faith? Join us Monday, February
11th at 6 pm at the home of Lucy
Barry (1209 Monarch Drive in VB.)
CITY ON OUR KNEES If you were the only person/people on earth, that had the ability and power
to truly make a lasting difference, would you do it? As the body of Christ,
you/we ARE the only ones on earth that can make a lasting difference, by
bringing healing to our land! (2 Chronicles 7:14). It's time that we stop
complaining about all of the bad things that are taking place in our nation,
and do what God has directed us to do...PRAY!!!
This Sunday, February 10th at 6 pm, churches from all over Fort Smith and
surrounding areas, from different denominations and ethnic backgrounds,
are going to come together to pray against all of this evil that's trying to
divide and cripple our families, communities, and nation. Please mark your
calendar and make plans to attend this much needed and powerful prayer
gathering at the House of Restoration at 2201 S. 46th Street in Fort Smith.

Day’ recently at the Arkansas

Griffith will teach this class on
conversational Spanish for missions
and evangelism.
THANK YOU Dear Pastor Wes and Heritage
Church, Thank you for your month-
ly partnership and commitment to
this ministry as we seek to train
pastors around the world and lead
them to encounter Christ. In many
places they rely on us to fund the
translation and printing of our cur-
riculum. Your partenship will make
this possible.
With love and appreciation,
IV

SOCKS DONATIONS Taylor Teague and Lexi Miller are
collecting new pairs of socks for a
school service project. The socks
will be donated to the Heritage
Clothes Closet. Donations can be
dropped off at the church office.
HELP NEEDED Hard to think of gardening in the middle of winter! But think we must! Our
church grounds should be inviting and show the beauty of God's creation!
We want those who come or just drive by to enjoy that beauty. But that
requires work and time to keep the lawn and beds planted, weeded and
watered. It has become too big a job for the two people who have been
doing that and help is needed! If you would be willing to spend any amount
of time this spring and summer we want to hear from you! We will work
with you on the amount of time you have and the tasks you are willing to
undertake. Just call the church office, 474-6424, or email the
[email protected] and ask to be put on the volunteer list and you will
be contacted when we are ready to organize.
Opportunity To Serve Our Community 1. How would you like to help comfort people in their time of need? 2. How would you like to be there for a person and let them know you
care? 3. How would you like to know you were leading people to a place of
peace? 4. How would you like to make yourself available to people who need to
talk and learn to minister as you do so? 5. How would you like to hear people say a very heart-felt thank-you for what you have done for them?
If you answered yes to any of the above questions, we have a great open door for you.
Heritage has had a very good relationship with what has become the Baptist Hospital for several years. Presently, there are five men from Heritage who serve as chaplains at the hospital. Those five men are, Ron McPhail, Bob Bretch, Paul Ray, Earle Craft, and Mark Turner. All five of our men are very excited about their ministry as chaplains. They all speak glowingly about the joy and satisfaction that being a chaplain brings into their lives. They would be very glad to share their experiences with you.
Shirley Harrod, Director of Pastoral Services at Baptist Hospital contacted me this week with a wonderful opportunity. She has requested that Heritage provide several more chaplains. I want to stress the word, several. They have several chaplain slots open as of right now. You can serve either at the Fort Smith Hospital, or here in Van Buren. We have men serving both places. Minimally a chaplain is on duty four hours a week during business hours. Most of our Heritage men love it so much they serve much more than that.
I felt it was an honor for the hospital to make such a request of Heritage. It is a testimony to the great job our present chaplains are doing. I also feel that this is not just an opportunity for men. I think we need some women chaplains. If you are excited about this opportunity, please call me, or the church office. We have all the
necessary documents to help you get started. The hospital also offers training to prepare you for this ministry.
What better way can we serve our Lord than serving His people when they are in need?
