Mission Tanzania

The Mission Tanzania Santa Barbara, CA St. Barbara Greek Orthodox Church Ministry and the Mission Is Possible Irvine, CA St. Paul Greek Orthodox Church Ministry have worked together to help the people in the villages of Tanzania Africa since 2009.

These ministries have provided significant medical aid, built churches and have now procured and transported new drilling equipment so that fresh water wells can be drilled to provide water to the many villages and people without water.

Wine for WaterWhat: An intimate evening of tasting delectable Byron & Cambria wines paired with delicious Mediterranean hors d’oeuvres!

Why: 100% of the proceeds will go straight to drilling the first of many fresh water wells in Tanzania Africa and save the lives of many people!

Cost: A tax deductible donation of $100 per person. (Every $100 donated will save 10 lives!!!)

Bukoba Water Well

The goal of the Mission Tanzania Water Project is to drill as many fresh water wells as possible to provide clean water close to people’s homes. The women spend thousands of hours bringing clean water to their families. And the children often miss out on education or drop out of school in order to help their families get clean water. Clean water means hope and life for a family.

The first fresh water well of many, God willing, will be drilled in Bukoba in Tanzania Africa at a boarding school. This will help to sustain life for up to 450 students. The labor and material cost to drill a new well is ~$(3-5)K.

This essentially means that every $10 donated is saving someone’s life. Save these

children’s lives today!
