OverviewSince its establishment in the early eighties, Maani has became one of the leading manufacturers of office, school, auditorium, library and laboratory furniture of the highest quality. The company’s factory resides with in a covered area of 7,500m2 in south Amman, and uses only modern tools and machines, with a highly qualified workforce of over 100 engineers, technicians, and highly skilled laborers. PlanningThe process of planning starts from site visits ar-ranged by our sales force, from which site dimensions and electromechanical connections are measured and taken into consideration. We deal with our customers as one team in order to achieve their goals.

DesignThe output of site visits forms the input data for laboratory design, which is executed and approved by professional engineers. Using AutoCAD, we en-able our clients to completely visualize the laboratory furniture, by supplying them with plans, elevations, isometric views and shop drawings. A complete set of drawings, quotations and technical specifications for the project are then presented to the client.

The Pedestal P-System(Series L-01)

Technical Specificationsfor Bench System:

The pedestal P-system is a system where the worktop is directly supported by the under-bench cabinets. Under-bench cabinets are mounted on metal base frames constructed from a 30x30x1.5mm epoxy powder coated square steel section fully carrying the under-bench cabinets. Legs are supplied with an adjustment foot of ±40mm to correct eventual unevenness of the floor. Under-bench cabinets are placed on the frames and can be relocated with simple hand tools.

The C-Frame System(Series L-02)

Technical Specificationsfor Bench System:

The suspended C-system is a system where the under-bench cabinets are suspended on heavy-duty cantilever frames constructed from a 60x30x2mm epoxy powder coated rectangu-lar steel section that fully caries the worktop. All side and middle frames are constructed without a vertical leg to avoid obstruction to the user. Legs are supplied with end caps and on adjustment foot a ±40mm to correct even-tual unevenness of the floor. Under-bench cabinets are suspended on the frames and can be relocated with simple hand tools.

PVC EdgingEdges are made of PVC edge banding material applied au-tomatically by an edge banding machine using hot melted glue under high pressure and temperatures of 190-200 C.

HandlesDrawers and doors for under-bench and wall cabinets can be supplied with full-length grab-rails made of anodized aluminum profile set into a groove on top of doors and drawers fronts. Alternatively, Doors handles and drawers for under-bench, wall and tall cabinets are supplied with steel powder- coated, D-shape handles.

HingesAll hinges are nickel plated, heavy duty, self-closing and spring-loaded. Hinges have a maximum opening of 120°/165°, are adjustable in 3 directions, and are sup-plied with nickel-plated mounting plate.

Drawer Side & SlidesIntegrated drawer slide type acts both as a drawer slide and side panel. Sides and slides are made of epoxy powder-coated steel running on nylon runners, and contain a self-closing feature with a 60mm closing range with continuous load capacity of 35 kg.

Accessories- Adjustable shelves inside cabinets are supported by four shelf supports having a load capacity of 60kg.- Wall cabinets are hung using 2 suspension fittings, which are adjustable in 3 directions with a minimum load capacity of 150Kg per pair.- Cabinet parts are connected to each other by counter head sunk screws of galvanized steel. Visible ends of cabinets are supplied with plastic head caps.

Water and Gas Fittings

Water and gas fittings are made of best quality brass alloy CZ121 & 122 TO BS2872 & BS2874. All valves are molded in chemical resistance polypropylene and colored to match the service medium in accordance with DIN 12920. All fittings are protected by chemical resistance epoxy coatings.

Emergency Showers & Eye Wash

These are compliance with DIN 12899-UNI regulations. The showerheads are in hot-formed ABS, yellow with high resistance, or in stainless steel. These showerheads are designed to supply a huge quantity of water to rapidly eliminate noxious products present on the person requiring aid. All eye-wash showers can be equipped with a stainless steel water reception tub. Also, the irrigation nozzles include plastic caps to protect against dust, and these are automatically ejected when the water tap is turned on.

Electrical Sockets & Holders Double and single pole switching mecha-nism on switch sockets comply with BS 1363 Pt 2, a.c. only.
