  • Code of Students Rights and Responsibilities MSU Campus Policies All students are free to pursue his/her educational goals (1.3) All discussions and expressions of view points relevant to the classroom is permitted (1.6) All students shall have the rights to be protected from all prejudiced unrelated to academic performance (1.7) Students can start his/her own student organization, just need an advisor and 5 students (1.10 & 1.13) Students have limited rights of privacy in the residence halls and shall not indulge in having alcohol(due to a dry campus) or drugs or suspicious substance on campus that are illegal by law. (1.14) Academic integrity and honesty are expected to by all students, staff, and faculty (2.1). Acts of dishonesty will be governed by the Student Academic Integrity Policies and Procedures (4.1) Conduct procedures will be taken place on theft, use/possession/distribution of narcotics, sexual harassment, hazing mentally or physically, and uncalled for behavior on MSU property or off is not acceptable (chapter 4)

  • Transfer Credit Reevaluation & Preapproval Your credit evaluation, available on your MyMissouriState student portal, explains how your classes transfer to Missouri State. To change the evaluation of a course, you may request a credit reevaluation. To request an evaluation of a course you have not yet completed at a different institution, you may submit a preapproval.

Each department and academic program at Missouri State University has identified a specific advisor who has experience working with transfer students and understands the policies that apply. As incoming transfer students are admitted, they will be directed to schedule an appointment with an advisor on our campus to discuss their academic plans and identify the appropriate courses to take during the first semester.
