We photograph things in order to drive them out of our minds.

—Franz Kafka

This is the story of a failure.

Religion, new age movements and childhood tales tell us that there is something beyondreason, those stories talk about transmigration, devils, goodness, heaven and hell. Theyhave been passed on from fathers to sons, generation after generation. They have createdsystems of beliefs that have affected our morals and ethics.

Thousands of books have been written, some with scientific intentions. I have never had aproof that any of these were real so I have unconsciously started a personal project tocreate images that try to fulfill this lack. In an apparent chaos, these images describe anunreal landscape where, as a healing process, I photograph objects and situations, indisorder. I manipulate and combine them in order to create an iconographic space wherebeliefs of any kind can be real.
