For over 20 years, MITGI has proven that finding the right product at a reasonable price does not have to be complicated. Through our standard and custom product lines, we can offer a solution that will meet your specifications.
With the introduction of in-house coating, we’re able to deliver coating that has the same great quality as the tools you’ve come to expect from MITGI. Tools are coated in small batches of like sizes to ensure consistent coating is applied at the optimum temperature. MITGI offers coating for micro tools with a round shank, that are made of carbide or high speed steel, in shank sizes ranging from 1/8”-1” in diameter, and with cutter dimensions commonly as low as 0.010” (smaller on a case-by-case basis).
The chart below includes general information about coatings and cutting materials. Contact us to discuss which coating will deliver optimum results.
Notes for Coating:• In-house coating generally adds 1-3 days
to overall production schedule• Other coatings are available upon
request, with an average 1 week turnaround
• For overall lengths greater than 3” add 25% per inch
• No double end tools or brazed tools with MITGI coating
• Batch charge minimum or total of tool charge (whichever is greater)
