Qn) A study on Batesian Mimicry “Perhaps there is something even more basic going
on here. Take for example, the Plain Tiger Butterfly The Indian Fritillary Butterfly and the Leopard Lacewing exhibit Batesian Mimicry, so named after naturalist Henry Walter Bates, who first documented this phenomenon in the Amazon in the mid-1800’s. In this example, the Plain Tiger is toxic to predators, whereas the Indian Fritillary and the Leopard Lacewing are not. However, these latter two have evolved with the same coloration so that predators will avoid them as well”

The two main legends associated with this are:
1) Duke Godfrey III became Duke of Leuven,Belgium at the age of 2. In 1142, the troops of this two-year-old lord were battling against the troops of the Berthouts, the lords of Grimbergen. The troops put the infant lord in a basket and hung it in a tree, to encourage and this happened.

Qn) John harvey X was an especially zealous
campaigner against masturbation.
X thought sex was the ultimate abomination and remained celibate even in marriage. Masturbation was the worst sin imaginable to him.
He believed it led to leprosy, tuberculosis, heart disease, epilepsy, dimness of vision, insanity, idiocy, and death. He also preached that masturbation led to bashfulness in some people, unnatural boldness in others, a fondness for spicy foods, round shoulders, and acne.
Hence he invented Y to keep young boys from masturbation.51

San Carlos Airport is a small general aviation airport located two miles northeast of the central business district (CBD) of San Carlos, California, USA
This airport is most famous because of its IATA Code. Some people say the code X was given to this airport because of its proximity to the headquarters of Y.
It is just a coincidence, though one that many technically-inclined residents of the Bay Area and Silicon Valley were sure to notice. But the fact is that the airport was given this code well before the founding of the Y

is about as wide as a human pinky nail when fully grown, was discovered in the Mediterranean Sea in 1883. But its unique ability was not discovered until the 1990s.
Turritopsis typically reproduces the old-fashioned way, by the meeting of free-floating sperm and eggs. But when starvation, physical damage, or other crises arise, instead of sure death, it does something really peculiar.

Qn) In 17th century France usually when a Petition was
made against the Higher Authorities, say against the Crown or a High Government official, the petitioners used this technique.
What they do is, instead of signing the petition one after the other, they put their signs along a circle or a ribbon in a haphazard way.
It was mainly to ensure that, the person whose signature comes first, wont receive the maximum wrath of the Crown, because of the human tendency to mark the first person as the ring leader.
What was this custom called?

Percival Christopher X was a British writer, mostly of adventure fiction. He is remembered best for Beau Geste, a much-filmed book of 1924 involving the French Foreign Legion in North Africa, and its sequels, Beau Sabreur and Beau Ideal.
But his claim to fame across the world is because of something he created primarily for the children of British officers resident in India. This was primarily associated with the color red.

Mary Anning’s father was a cabinet maker, and had this hobby of collecting fossils from the sea shore. When her father died, leaving the family in distress, Mary took up the fossil collection and selling as her primary job. She used to go around the seashores of Lyme Regis in England, and collect sea shells and fossils. This she used to sell to the tourists and make money. She rose to fame when she discovered in 1811 a skeleton of ichthyosaur, the giant marine reptile of yester years .This was the first complete skeleton of an ichthyosaur ever discovered proving its existence. Her next major discovery was a real first, the first-ever skeleton of a plesiosaur in 1821.
But she was immortalized in an entirely different way. How do we remember her still?

Frederick I ________(1122 – 10 June 1190) was elected King of Germany at Frankfurt on 4 March 1152.The name ________ came from the northern Italian cities he attempted to rule, and means "red beard" in Italian Frederick is the subject of many legends, including that of a sleeping hero, like the much older British Celtic legends of Arthur or Bran the Blessed. Legend says he is not dead, but asleep with his knights in a cave in the Kyffhäuser mountain in Thuringia or Mount Untersberg in Bavaria, Germany, and that when the ravens cease to fly around the mountain he will awake and restore Germany to its ancient greatness. According to the story, his red beard has grown through the table at which he sits.

On an interesting note, Timur's body was exhumed from his tomb in 1941 by the renowned Russian anthropologist Mikhail M. Gerasimov. The scientist found that Timur's facial characteristics conformed to that of Mongoloid features, supporting
Timur's notion, in some part, that he was descended from Genghis Khan. His height was 5 foot 8 inches, tall for his time and era. He also confirmed Timur's
lameness. Gerasimov was able to reconstruct the likeness of Timur from his skull. Unfortunately, a curse has been attached to opening Timur's tomb. In the year of
Timur's death, a sign was carved in Timur's tomb warning that whoever would dare disturb the tomb would bring demons of war onto his land. Gerasimov's
expedition opened the tomb on June 19, 1941. Operation Barbarossa began three days later on June 22, 1941.”
