Strategic consulting on corporate climate policy
Mitsubishi Research Institute Inc.4
MRI Carbon Offset Initiative
Find and evaluate commercially viable projects that result in emission reduction

Why reduction in Japan is difficult(Even though every country says the same thing…)
Mitsubishi Research Institute Inc.9
Japan’s emission profile
Has to decrease emissions by 6%
So far it has increased by about 7%
Without measures, it will increase by another 10%
Decrease in 1997-98 mainly due to recession 1000
