Luke 1:17Matthew 21:12

He willingly gave Himself to the striking and spitting

Who has believed our report?

He is not about comeliness

He would be despised and rejected

Jewish people would hide their faces from Him

He would bear our griefs and sorrows

Jewish people would think He was stricken by God Himself

He would be wounded and bruised for our sins

By His stripes we are healedWe are like sheep that have gone astray;

we've turned to our own ways

Because of this, God had to lay our sins on Him

Despite all the affliction, He didn't open His mouth [in protest]

He was like a lamb to the slaughter

His grave was to be with the wicked, but was with

the rich at His death

Although He had done no violence He was put to death

No deceit was in His mouth

God's Righteous Servant would justify many

After His death God will give Him a portion with

the great [He will be exalted] and divide the spoils

He would be numbered with transgressors

He would bear the sins of many

He would make intercession for transgressors

God sent Him to heal the brokenhearted

Rachel weeps for her children

God will make a New Covenant with Israel and Judah;

Law would be written in their hearts

Messiah would be cut off [die] before the Temple is destroyed

Out of Egypt God called His Son

 The One to rule in Israel who is from

everlasting will come from Bethlehem

King will come who is just and has salvation;

will come riding on a donkey

 Thirty shekels of silver would be paid

Princely price of thirty shekels

". . .they will look on Me whom they h ave pierced . . ."

God will strike the Shepherd and the sheep will scatter

God's messenger will prepare the way before GodLord shall come to His temple
