Scrappy - Adj.: Demonstrating an unwavering resolve to do whatever is necessary to achieve the best results for everyone involved, no matter how difficult.

An official GMAT score is NOT required for admissions

An OFFICIAL GMAT SCORE must be submitted to MLT no later than February 1, 2009

Must achieve an official GMAT score of 500+ to start MBAP

Admitted applicants with an official GMAT score of less than 500 will be deferred to the following MBAP class and will need to meet the same GMAT requirement for enrollment

Make GMAT your priority & start now

[ ] Take a practice test and get a sense of where you are: raw scores and area(s) of weakness

[ ] Understand percentiles and what your target business schools expect

[ ] Get in a GMAT Prep class that’s right for you (your company may reimburse you)

[ ] Know your test center options and availability (in some areas, test centers and dates are infrequent)

[ ] Manage your time and start early – plan, plan and plan

Page 15: MLT MBA Prep 2008 Presentation

The GMATChoosing the Right Prep is like choosing the right school

1. Know which GMAT prep fits your skill level (e.g. sub-

450 – must find prep that can help with foundational

knowledge base)

2. Know what learning environment is best for you

3. Know what type of teaching style you’re most

responsive to

4. Understand your weaknesses (analyze your score and

section(s) you’re weak in)

5. Understand the menu of additional resources the prep

service will offer (fee-based or free): tutoring, class-retake,

additional literature
