Meet Ms. Dobrinich

● Fourteenth year teaching music, third year at CHMS● Previously taught middle school choir, guitar and music class

○ Presented twice at ILMEC and served as Choral Rep for District 1○ Ladies’ ensemble received State Superior High Honor status twice (2014 & 2017), including a

perfect score in 2017 (one of two in the state awarded to choir last year)● Musical theatre director at the Children’s Theatre of Western Springs

○ Dear Edwina, Jr.; The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley; The Aristocats; Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good Very Bad Day; Dr. Dolittle; How I Became a Pirate; The Jungle Book; and Cinderella Kids.

● CHMS Musical Production: Willy Wonka, Jr.○ Open to all students○ Auditions are next week!○ Rehearsals Sept-Nov., M-F 3:30-5:30pm○ Performances: November 7-9○ Activity fee: $100

● Sixth Grade Choir○ Choir for all sixth graders, whether in band, music exploratory or orchestra during the school day○ Meets Monday mornings Sept-March (but starts next week Wednesday due to Labor Day)○ Perform in December and March○ Activity fee: $25○ Bowling & Pizza Social, trip to see Beauty and the Beast
