Welcome to NexgenRx Mobile App created for our Plan Members -NEXMOBILE. The mobile app

is available through IOS (Apple/iphones) and Google Play

(Android) stores only.

This manual has been created for you to assist with the operations of the Mobile App and all the self-serve

functions. Our Call Centre is available to assist you with any questions you may have Monday to Friday from

8:00 a.m. EST to 10:00 p.m. EST (excluding holidays) at 1-866-424-0257 or [email protected].

In order to start you must have a Mobile Device/Phone (Apple or Android/Smart Phone) and have access to

data/internet on your device with your Provider (Rogers, Bell, Telus, Fido, etc.).

For Apple users:

1. Go to the App store by clicking on this icon on your Apple device- click

2. Once there, go to the Search tab -click

3. Type in nexmobile on the search bar-click

4. Click “GET” and then “INSTALL” you are ready to go.

For Android Users:

1. Go to Play Store- Click

2. Once there go to the Google Play Search bar and type nexmobile- Click

3. Select the nexmobile icon – Click

4. Select Install- Click - and you are ready to go.

And LOGIN SCREEN

This is the Login Screen. This is the first screen that you will

see when you open the app.

Don’t remember your password? Click on the Forgot Password

button. This button will take you to the link to reset your password.

This is the Language Button. Click on this button to switch from English to French or vice-versa.

Not a Member? Click on Not a member? This button will

take you to the Member Website to register for your

User ID and Password

Here you enter your nexmobile User ID and Password it is the same as your Website User ID

and Password.

HOME SCREENThis is the Home

Screen. The Home Screen allows you to view your claims, get

benefit details and submit a claim.

This is your total claims submitted for all benefits under your benefit program for yourself and all of your dependents. Each color of the ring represents a benefit line.

Yellow =EHC Claims

Pink = Dental Claims

Blue = Drug Claims

Your claims submitted are also color coded for easy reference.

This is the Menu Button. Click on this button and it will take you to other self serve screens and claims submitted.

These are your claims submitted and the payment status.

If your plan provides for a Health Care Spending Account (HSCA) your unspent balance will appear on the Home Screen.

You can sort and locate your claims by Amount of claim value, Date submitted or Status of claims.

Click “New Claim” to start the claiming process. Please ensure you have your receipts with you.

MAIN MENUThis is the Main Menu. This is

the screen that you will see when you click the Menu button

on the top left corner of the Home Screen.

My Plan. Your Profile information can be viewed by clicking this button including your banking information. The bigger circle shows the member info. and the smaller circle shows the dependent information.

Support button. Do need help or have a question, click the Support button to email NexgenRx or get the call centre phone number.

My Benefits Card- Click on this button to view your Benefit Card including Travel Info.

My Claims- This button will take you to the Home Screen where you can view all your submitted claims. Click any claim to view all the details of the claim. (Refer to Page 2).

You can view the list of drugs that require prior authorization by clicking the Prior Authorizations button. You can also email the required form to your doctor or yourself.

This is the Language Button. Click on this button to switch from English to French.

About button provides you with information about NexgenRx.

A SUBMITTING NEW CLAIM- STEP 1 Submitting A Claim:

Step 1. First step to submitting a claim is taking a picture. You can take a picture of the receipt or attach a copy of the receipt

from your files.

Take a photo of receipt- Click this button to take a picture of your receipt with your phone camera.

This is the Back Button. Click on this button and it will take you back to the My Claims Screen.

Choose photo from file- If you don’t have the receipt with you right now but have a picture saved, click this button and it will take you to your phone photo gallery. You can then choose the picture of the receipt that you want to submit. Make sure the picture is clear and legible.

SUBMIT NEW CLAIM- STEP 2mitted Submitting A Claim:

Step 2. Second step to submitting a claim is entering claim and patient information.

Pay with HCSA- Check this button to get this claim or any unpaid

amount paid through your Health Care Spending Account (HCSA). (This option will only show if your

plan provides an HCSA)

If you have coverage through a spouse’s plan or if any part of

your claim was paid by another carrier, you must this box.

Select Coverage is the type of Claim you are submitting. You can only submit one receipt at a time. You must choose from the following options:

EHC Coverage- If you are submitting an Extended Health claim select this coverage.

Dental Coverage- If you are submitting a Dental claim select this coverage.

Drug Coverage- If you are submitting a Drug claim select this coverage.

You can add photos of your eligible members under your plan, including yourself in My Plan Profile (See page 10). When submitting a claim, select the picture of the claimant for whom the claim is for. You can only select one claimant per submission.

Submitting A Claim:

Step 2 continued.- Submitting an Extended

Health Care (EHC) claim.

When submitting an Extended Health Care (EHC) claim, you will be required to select a Sub Category. Click the category

and then move to Step 3.

Submitting A Claim:

Step 3. Submitting the claim for processing.

Step 3: You have two Options regarding submitting your claim

for processing.

First Option – If you Enter Claims Details your claim will get processed in real-time. Once you’ve completed all the steps. This means you’ll know right away if your claim was approved and awaiting payment.

OR

Second Option – If you select Submit Now your claim will be sent to NexgenRx for further processing. Your claim will be processed within 2-3 business days. Once you select Submit Now, not further action is required.

Step 3. Submitting the claim for processing.

First Option – If you Enter Claims Details your claim will get processed real-time (the claim will process once you enter all the claim details). See Page 8 for details.

SUBMIT A CLAIM- STEP 3 (ENTER CLAIM DETAIL Option 1)

The App will Total all your claim lines.

Practitioner information will be required to be provided the first time you submit a claim. Enter New first time submitting a claim. Once the Practitioner information is on file, you will be able to Select the Practitioner/Provider from the file for all future claims.

You must certify that all the information added is correct. To read the certification/retention statement, simply tap on ‘more’.

You may be audited and asked to submit your receipts. You must retain your receipt for 18 months.

If you don't wish to submit the claim, discard all of the entered information by clicking the ‘Cancel’ button. OR, Once you check and certify your information, the ‘Submit’ button will appear and you will then be able to submit the claim for processing by tapping on ‘Submit’.

Step 3. Enter Claim Details

Claim Details: You must fill in the required information. The App will indicate if any information is missing and you will need to complete the missing information.

By Selecting My Plan, you will have access to your benefit information, as well as banking information.

MY PLAN SCREEN My Plan Screen.

Allows you to view the information of your plan.

This is all the information contained on your benefit card and required for submitting a claim. This information will be pre-populated and you will not be able to edit it.

This is the Menu Button. Click on this button and it will take you to other self serve screens and claims submitted.

If your plan provides on HCSA, you will be able to see your remaining balance here.

This is the edit button for your email. Click this button and you will be able to edit/ update your email address.

Click on your picture or your covered dependents to view your personal information, such as names, date of birth, banking information etc. on file.

You can view a PDF copy of your Benefit Card. This is

particularly important if you have forgotten or misplaced

your card.

By Selecting My Benefits Card, your NexgenRx Benefit Card will open up in PDF format.

PRIOR AUTHORIZATION DRUGS

You can view a list of Prior Authorization Drugs.

By Selecting PRIOR AUTHORIZATION DRUGS, you can view the list of drugs that would require a prior authorization from your physician in order to claim them under your plan.

If you click , then you can email the form to your doctor to complete. The completed form must then be sent to NexgenRx for review.
