Mobile Team Training

• What?• Tailor made ELW training delivered abroad

• Why?• Lower costs, increase attractiveness• More students can be taught• ELW staff enjoy broadening experience• Relieves burden on ELW resources eg

classrooms, therefore more courses at ELW • Relieves pressure on limited DSL accommodation• In-country language training leads to new

business

Congo• DA requested 6 wk

ELT for 12 Congolese Army Officers at DSL

• Planning process:– Establish student SLP

level– Timetable/course

produced and endorsed– Resources allocated– 15hrs before student

arrival DA called to say students would not arrive

– Dedicated driver– In-country brief/mobiles– Maintain comms

throughout
