OmniEvidence 9000 Complete Mobile Video Solution OmniEvidence 9000 is the Public Safety Broad- band Consortium’s answer to a complete mobile video solution. From its inception, mobile video for the public safety market has faced many obstacles because of the environment and circumstances in which it operates. What has resulted is a mixture of different disparate hardware and software products trying to solve different problems within the vehicle. OmniEvidence 9000 is a complete integrated system that pulls together a complete solution and makes it easy to implement, operate and upgrade. OmniEvidence 9000 comes complete with a rugge- dized mobile enclosure with an integrated GPS, 16 Trigger inputs, Four port USB Hub, 5 Port Ethernet Switch, Removable SD video storage, and Insight Video Net’s MMS (Mobile Management System) in- car video software. The system also comes equipped with Axis Q7401 H.264 encoders (available for one to four cameras). The easy-to-use in-car video software, MMS, cap- tures video and audio on either a continuous or incident-triggered basis. The system provides live viewing of cameras and review of archived video/ audio data. Triggers can be set to begin recording based on department preferences such as the vehicle reaching a certain speed, a gun removed from a dock, or the light bar being activated. MMS features automated wireless upload of all files using a hands- free, wireless network via a virtual private network tunnel. Once uploaded, the files are automatically managed by the CMS Flex (Central Management System) helping streamline operations and provide maximum protection for digital evidence. OmniEvidence 9000 has many options available, making the solution flexible to fit the needs of any public safety agency. A 3-axis accelerometer, GPS, USB Cellular modem, additional cameras, and wireless microphone can be added. A range of wireless options are available for the customer’s MDS. Wireless communications allow the sharing of information such as voice, data and video just as effectively as traditional wired methods, but with more agility and capability. Wireless Mesh networks allow personal, vehicle and aircraft from all categories of incident response teams to form multiple mobile networks seamlessly as they arrive.

OmniEvidence 9000Complete Mobile Video Solution

OmniEvidence 9000 is the Public Safety Broad-band Consortium’s answer to a complete mobile video solution.

OmniEvidence 9000 comes complete with a rugge-dized mobile enclosure with an integrated GPS, 16 Trigger inputs, Four port USB Hub, 5 Port Ethernet Switch, Removable SD video storage, and Insight Video Net’s MMS (Mobile Management System) in-car video software. The system also comes equipped with Axis Q7401 H.264 encoders (available for one to four cameras).

The easy-to-use in-car video software, MMS, cap-tures video and audio on either a continuous or incident-triggered basis. The system provides live viewing of cameras and review of archived video/audio data. Triggers can be set to begin recording

based on department preferences such as the vehicle reaching a certain speed, a gun removed from a dock, or the light bar being activated. MMS features automated wireless upload of all files using a hands-free, wireless network via a virtual private network tunnel.

The wireless options include: 2.4/4.9/5.8 802.11 abj; 2.4/5.8 802.11n (up to 300 Mb); 2.4/4.9 MOTOMESHTM and Cellular. For ease of installation, the system comes with a Quad-band antenna with GPS, Cellular, and Dual Wire-less Antennas, all in a small enclo-sure.
