UTILIZANDO SU ARTEfACTO • Coloqueelejebatidorabajodelcompartimientodelmotorgirándolohacialaizquierda hasta quetrabe.• Sumerjacompletamentelafundadelacuchillaenlosingredientes.• Oprimaelbotóndeencendidoycomienceamezclarlosingredientesmoviendola batidoraencicloshaciaarribayhaciaabajo.Launidadsólofuncionarámientrasel botónestepresionado.Paramezcladocontinuo,mantengapresiónsobreelfondo durante1minutomáximo.• Sujetefirmementelabatidora.

NOTA:Durantelaaccióndemezclado,esnormalqueseformeunasucciónenel fondodelrecipiente.

• Cuandosealcancelaconsistenciadeseada,suelteelbotónyretirelabatidoradela mezcla.Paraevitarsalpicaduras,siempresuelteelbotónantesderetirarlabatidora delosingredientes. PRECAUCION: Paraaumentarlavidadeesteartefacto,nuncalodejeoperar continuamentepormásde1minutoalavez.Despuésdeunminuto deoperacióncontinua,suelteelbotónydejequeelartefacto descansedurante3minutosantesdeusarlodenuevo. UTILIZANDO SU PICADOREl picadorresultaidealparacortarunaampliavariedaddevegetales,frutassecas,nueces,etc.

• Insertelacuchillaparapicarenelrecipientedelpicador.

• Paraobteneróptimosresultados,cortelosingredientesgrandesencubosde aproximadamente12.7mm(1/2pulgada)antesdepicar.

NOTA: Nopiquegrandescubosdehielooalimentosdemasiadoduros.

• Fijelatapadelpicadorcolocándolosobreelrecipienteygirándolohacialaderecha hastaquequedefirmementetrabadoensulugar.Elejesuperiordelacuchillapara picarencajaráenelorificioreceptorqueseencuentradebajodelatapa.

• Coloqueelcompartimientodelmotorsobrelapartesuperiordelatapadelrecipiente ygirelatapadelrecipientehacialaderechahastaquequedefirmementetrabadaen sulugar.Enchufeelcableeléctricoenuntomacorrienteadecuado.

• Pulseymantengaelbotóndeencendidopresionadoparaencenderelartefacto.Para apagarlaunidad,libereelbotón.

• Silosingredientesseadhierenaloscostadosdelrecipienteparapicar,aflójelosagregandounapequeñacantidaddelíquidooconlaayudadeunaespátulaparadespegarlosalimentoshacialaparteinteriordelrecipiente.

• Libereelbotóndeencendidoyesperequelacuchillasedetengatotalmenteantes deretirarlatapadelrecipientegirándolahacialaizquierda.Tengacuidadoalquitarla cuchillaysosténgalasolamenteporelmangodeleje,pueslacuchillademetal esfilosa.

NOTA: No limpie la cuchilla con los dedos, sino con una cuchara o espátula para despegarlosalimentosdelrecipienteantesderetirarlacuchilla.

PRECAUCION: Desenchufe el electrodoméstico antes de colocar el recipiente del picador.Coloquelosingredientesenelrecipiente,fijelatapay coloqueelcompartimientodelmotor. IMPORTANTE: Cuando esté utilizando su picador, asegúrese de apoyarlo encima deunasuperficieplanatalycomoseindicaabajo(verfigura).NUNCA lo utilice sosteniendo el artefacto en el aire, pues el recipiente puede separarsedelcompartimientodelmotorycaerse.

• Levantelascuchillaspormediodelosprotectores,colocándolasentreeldedopulgar yelíndice.Notoquelaorillaafilada,bordesonduladosdelascuchillas.Retirelafunda plásticaquevieneconlascuchillas.

• Inserteelremacheosegurodeunadelascuchillasenlaranuradelaotra,estohace quequedecerrado.Sujetandolascuchillasconlosprotectorescondosdedosyelfilo de las cuchillas hacia fuera coloque la parte posterior dentro de la cuchilla en laabertura,queestásituadaalfrentedelmango.

• Oprimacadaprotectorhaciadentrohastaquesientaelsonidodequelascuchillashan caídoensulugar.Asegúresedequelascuchillasesténbieninsertadas.Elfilodelas cuchillasdebeestarhaciaabajoretiradasdelmango.

• Coloqueelcompartimientodelmotorenlaparteposteriordelcuchilloeléctricoygireel compartimientodelmotorhacialaizquierdahastaquetrabe.

• Enchufeelcabledeltomacorriente.Utilicesolamenteelvoltajequeseespecificaenla parteinferiordelaunidad.

• Oprimalosdosbotonesdelcuchilloeléctricoalamismavezparaactivarelcuchillo.Porfavortomeencuentaqueelcuchilloeléctricosolamentevaafuncionarsilosdosbotones“c”y“d”estánpresionadossimultáneamente. • Pararebanar,coloquelacuchillasobreelalimentoydeslícelosolamente.Noes necesariomoverelcuchillohacialoslados,solamentedeslícelohaciaabajoylas cuchillasrebanaránsinmuchapresión.

• Cuandohayaterminadoderebanar,suelteelinterruptor.Desenchufeelcableeléctrico deltomacorriente.

USING YOUR APPLIANCEYourapplianceisatwo-partassembly.Theupperpartcontainsthemotorhousing.Thelower part contains the beater shaft, the food chopper, the electric knife or the whisk (model2620only).

ToLock:Holdthemotorhousingintherighthandandtheaccessoryintheleft.Attachthemotorhousinguptotheaccessory.Rotatethemotorhousingtotheleft.Theassemblylocksfirmly.

ToUnlock:Holdthemotorhousingintherighthandandtheaccessoryintheleft.Rotatethemotorhousingtotherighttoseparatetheunits.

USING YOUR MIxER• Attach the beater shaft to the motor housing by rotating the latter to the left until it locks firmlyintoplace.• Immersethebladehousingcompletelyintoingredients.• Presstheonbuttonandbeginmixingingredientsbymovingtheapplianceupand downandincircles.Theunitwillonlyworkwhiletheonbuttonispressed. Forcontinuousmixing,maintainpressureonbuttonforamaximumof1minute.• Holdthemixerfirmly.

NOTE: During mixing, it is normal for suction to be created at the bottom of thecontainer.

• Whendesiredconsistencyhasbeenreached,releasebuttonandliftthemixer frommixture.Topreventsplashing,alwaysreleasebuttonbeforeremovingmixer fromingredients.

CAUTION: Toextendthelifeofthisappliance,neverletitoperatecontinuouslyfor morethan1minuteata time.After1minuteofcontinuousoperation, releaseButtonandletappliancerestfor3minutesbeforeusingitagain.

WARNING:Donotusemixerinsaucepandirectlyonstovetop.Removepanfrom heatbeforemixing.

• Toremovethebeatershaft,holditfirmlyandrotatethemotorhousingtotheright.• Thecup,whichisincludedwithyourmixercanbeusedasamixingcupandameasuringcup.

USING THE CHOPPERThe chopperisidealforchoppingawiderangeofvegetables,driedfruits,nuts,etc.

• Insertchoppingbladeintothechoppingbowl.

• Forbestresults,cutlargeingredientsintopiecesofapproximately12.7mm(1/2-inch)cubedbeforechopping.

NOTE:Donotchoplargeicecubesorextremelyhardfoods.

• Securethechoppingbowlcoverbysettingonthebowl,pressdown,andturntothe rightuntilfirmlylockedintoplace.Theuppershaftofthechoppingbladewillfitintothe receivingholeintheundersideofthecover.

• Attachthemotorhousingintothetopofthefoodchoppingbowlcoverandturntotherightuntilthemotorhousingisfirmlylockedintoplace.Plugcordintoconvenientoutlet.

• Pressandholdtheonbuttontoswitchtheuniton.Releasethebuttontoswitchtheunit off.

• Iftheingredientssticktothesidesofthechoppingbowl,loosenthembyaddinga small amount of liquid or by using a spatula to scrape the food back into the inner part ofthebowl.

• Releasetheonbuttonandallowthebladetocometoacompletestopbefore removingthebowlcoverbyturningcovertotheleft.Takecarewhenremovingthe bladeandholdonlybytheshafthandleasthemetalbladeissharp.

NOTE:Donotcleanbladeswithfingers,useaspoonorspatulatoscrapefoodinto bowlafterbladeisremoved.

CAUTION:Unplugtheappliancebeforeattachingthechopperattachment.Putthefoodingredientsinthechoppingbowl,securethebowlcovertothe choppingbowlandattachthemotorhousingtoit.

IMPORTANT: Whenusingthefoodchopper,pleasemakesuretoplaceitonalevel surfaceasillustratedbelow(seefigure).NEVERuseitwhileholdingitup in the air, since the bowl might detach from the motor compartment andfall.

USING YOUR ELECTRIC KNIfE• Be sure the electric cord is not connected to the outlet when attaching the electric knife orinserting/removingtheknifeblades.

• Pickuptheknifebladesinsidetheprotectivecover,holdingitbetweenthethumband forefinger.Avoidtouchingthesharp,scallopededgesoftheblades.

• Inserttheraisedrivetononebladeintothekeyholeslotontheotherblade.Thislocks theendsoftheblades.Holdingthebladeswiththedripguardsbetweenthethumband forefinger,andwiththescallopededgesofthebladesfacingawayfromthehand,slide theendsofthebladesintotheopeningonthefrontofpowerhandle.

NOTE: DO NOT PRESS THE BLADE RELEASE BUTTON WHEN INSERTING THE BLADES.

• Pushgentlyoneachdripguardtowardstheelectricknifeuntiltheblades“click”into place.Makesurethebladesarefirmlyengaged.Cuttingedgesofthebladesshouldbe facingdownward,awayfromthehandle.

• Attachthemotorhousingtothebackoftheelectricknifeandturnthemotorhousingto theleftuntilitlocksfirmlyintoplace.

• Plugtheelectricalcordintoanelectricaloutlet.Useonlyvoltagespecifiedonbottomof theunit.
