DEFINITION OF QUALITY

First of all. Quality start with three concepts important and in this way can describe each model of Quality Management Management: Action and effect of administeringBusiness.Manage: Govern exercise authority or control over a territory y and the people who inhabit it. Quality: Property or set of inherent in something, you can judge their value properties. This fabric is of good quality.

MODEL DEMING PRIZE

The model Deming Prize has been present in Japan since 1951 and was created with the aim of becoming a tool for improving business in that country.

The award is given to promulgating the companies that stand out excellently by management and quality control, and also to promote quality management in companies that see an opportunity in this model of excellence.

THE AMERICAN MODEL OF EXCELLENCE IN MANAGEMENT.

The Ibero-American Model of Excellence in Management was implemented by FUNDIBEQ (Latin American Foundation for Quality Management) in 1999.

That same year the foundations of American Award for Excellence in Management published. FUNDIBQ is a supranational organization supported and constituted by some companies, non-profit, which is promoting and developing global quality management in Ibero-America.

MODEL MALCOLM BALDRIGE

This model serves as the basis for developing self-assessments of the organizations and so provide information on the status of these. It also helps to improve management practices, helps communication and serves as a tool for planning and delivery finally learning opportunities.This model helps organizations to use and integrated management of such a comprehensive approach, delivering greater value to customers and stakeholders; thus improving the efficiency and capabilities of the entire organization.

THE STANDARD OF EXCELLENCE FROM THE EUROPEAN FOUNDATION FOR QUALITY MANAGEMENT

This model was created by the European Foundation for Quality Management in 1990 and began delivering award annually to companies recognized for excellence since 1992.The model started as a basic model with the premise that good results could be achieved with the commitment of the members of the organization to improve processes, receiving the title of Model of Business Excellence (Business Excellence Model). 1999 Model was modified to a more advanced where more substantial changes lay with the incorporation of innovation and learning as a key competitive advantage, emphasizing the orientation to customers and stakeholders. Finally in 2003, minor changes were made in some of its criteria

majority of organizations. VDA: quality management model developed for the German automobile

industry. AVSQ: quality management model developed for the Italian automobile

industry. EAQF: quality management model developed for the French automobile

industry. QS-9000: quality management model developed for the US automobile

industry. TS 16949: special requirements for the application of ISO 9000 for suppliers

of the automobile industry. European Quality-Award: European award for Total Quality Management

which has been presented since 1991 by the European Federation of Quality Management EFQM.
