Who should attend?

Providers who want 100% Compliance at each verifi cation or external moderation with minimal or no fi ndings. People who are required to conduct internal or external modera-tion of outcomes based assessments like Training Providers; Education Departments;

FET Colleges; Staff; Teachers; Facilitators; Trainers; Lecturers ; administrators

Why the need for moderator training?

To achieve excellent ratings with Quality Assurance Bodies; your Mod-erators need to be prepared to meet our challenging environment.

At T.E.A.M Consultants we aim to train and deliver outcomes that would assist your current issues. Candidates are trained and pre-pared to moderate throughout the assessment process thereby en-suring that negative assessment trends do not develop leading to

clean audits.

Specific Outcomes:

• Planning a Moderation Schedule & Plan• Preparing Assessors & Providers for Moderation • Developing Moderation Instruments• Conducting ; recording and administrating moderation• Advise and support assessors and facilitators • Reporting Moderation results, • Review and improving Moderation systems and processes

According to the MERSETA ETQA training provider meeting earlier this year, results are not being upheld because of the current assessment trends. Moderator training is vital to ensure that these trends are corrected.

• Lack of pre-assessment meeting evidence• Assessors not conversant with the unit standards• Assessors incorrectly registered • Assessors with expired registrations• Insuffi cient evidence on outcomes. • Workplace learning not addressed; • Assessment feedback given verbally not recorded• Given Feedback is meaningless• Outcomes requirements not met when unit standards are clustered. • Lack of judgements • Documents not completed correctly• No workplace evidence.• Lack of integrated assessment on exit level outcomes
