There are many ways to make Shakespeare relevant and interesting to the modern student:
• Use the internet! It’s filled with podcasts, blogs, cartoons, clips from modern film adaptations, etc., and your students will enjoy any online excursions during class.
• Find comic adaptations, such as comic books, skits, and parodies.• Follow the text with a modern film adaptation.• Use graphs, maps, drawings, anything in your repertoire that will
help illustrate Shakespeare’s complicated relationships and plot lines more clearly.
This presentation will give you plenty of resources, online and off, so get ready!
