Fielding Modi from UP will bag more seats for BJP from UP. UP seats are very

important in deciding which party will be ruling center. When UP people see PM

nominated person is contesting from their state usually a positive wave will follow the

entire state. This is strategic movement.

Shiv Sena is trying to interfere in the internal affairs of another political party. This is a very

unhealthy trend in politics. SS authority over Mumbai is slowly loosing its grip and Raj

Thackaray is rising in the horizon. MNS may slowly capture the fort as it looks now and SS istrying to divide its coalition partner in the process.

Unclear why the SS should concern itself with the inner party dynamics of the BJP. It should

tend to its own flock, which seems to be straying.

Once Modi was declared PM candidate, He should have free hand to choose the people he

wants to field because Modi should be senior most among the candidates elected to avoid

egos, seniority issues cropping up after elections at any stage. The senior central leadership

should support his steps than derailing. Modi is humble enough to field most of the seniorcentral leadership candidates and am sure give them due respect which he has shown in

propitiating Advani than taking a course to throw him out of BJP.

With Modi declaration as PM candidate, Modi era has begun and supported by all because it

was majority decision within the BJP leadership and cadres to field Modi with country
