Room-Temperature Suzuki—Miyaura and Buchwald—Hartwig Reactions. — Palladium complexes (I) bearing a substituent at the allylic moiety exhibit higher cata-lytic activity in the title reactions than analogous palladium complexes bearing an un-substituted allyl moiety. Therefore, complex (Ia) permits the Suzuki—Miyaura cou-pling of a range of aryl chlorides, triflates and bromides with aryl boronic acids at ex-tremely low catalyst loadings. Complex (Ib) catalyzes the Buchwald—Hartwig cou-pling of a wide range of primary and secondary amines with aryl chlorides and bro-mides in very short reaction times and also at very low catalyst loadings. — (MARION, N.; NAVARRO, O.; MEI, J.; STEVENS, E.
