Likely has selected their new 2014-2015 officers for the year. We have voted as follows, President~Anna Colbert, Vice President~Madelyn Bin-ning, Secretary~Audra Larsen, Treas-urer~Chantz Albrecht, Reporter~Sage Albrecht, and Sergent of Arms~Joel Torres. The first meeting of the year was held on October 6, 2014, after all of the official business was done, we had a little fun to celebrate National 4-H week! We made a poster with animal stickers, stamps, and anatomy, then we signed it and took a picture. On Oc-tober 22, 2014 we had a “Record Book Workshop,” As a club, we all went through and discussed the require-ments to make a perfect record book. We are looking forward to another year of great fun, agriculture, and service.

Surprise Valley 4-H: A New Year, and a Final Report

Well, this is the end of my being Club Reporter. The last 0. The final slice of cake. The end of the fajitas. The- well, you get the idea. The point is, my duty of being reporter is (sniff, sniff) over. (sniff).

We’ve had a good year though, and now that the new year has begun, we have many new members and new officers as well.

The new officers for Surprise Valley 4-H are: President: Charly Simpson, Vice President: Zane Still, Secretary: Mackenzie McGiffin , Treasurer: Maya Shultz, Sargent of Arms: Brett McGiffin , Reporter: Miranda Linker , Healthy Living Officer: Maddison Seely and

Facebook Page Administrator: Sydna Kennedy

This year, we have a lot of new Primary Members in our 4-H club, which gives more responsibility to the officers and older members. We had our sign-up meeting, which is also an ice cream social. We had a REALLY good turn-out. (the ice cream probably had something to do with it). We have new projects this year: Dogs, Communication, Scrap Booking, and various types of gardening projects. Surprise Valley 4-H has a facebook page, but now has an administrator. If you have something new for us to post, please contact me through the club. The Awards Night dinner is on Nov. 17 at 6:00. It is a potluck, so bring food! Hope to see you there! And also, congratulations to Miranda Linker, for being the new Reporter and all the other officers, have a great year!

Sydna Kennedy, 2013-14 Reporter

Our new officers for New Pioneer 4-H are: Brady Deaton, president; Chance Galvin, vice-president; Hayden Fredrick , secretary; John Thomason, treasurer; Jacob Worch,

reporter; and Peter French, sergeant of arms. Congratulations to the new leaders of New Pioneer 4-H. Thank you Shawna and Donna for serving us for so many years as

our leaders. On October 8th , we will have our “Get To Know Your Officers” trivia game. Each officer will make up two trivia questions about themselves, and one will be

related to 4-H. Jacob Worch, Reporter
