Supplemental figure 2: Three-dimensional conformation of the different fatty acids used in the experiments. It is visible that fatty acids harbouring a higher number of double bonds in the acyl-chains present a more compact folding. The efficacy of inhibition of the fatty acid correlates with the highest degree of bending of the fatty acid. Atoms are: grey carbon, red oxygen, white hydrogen.
