Module Objectives : By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to:

1. identify the usage of the button shown on

the sound recorder window.

2. record the reading text.

What is Sound Recorder

Sound Recorder is a program to record sounds. It must be used with

an input device such as the microphone. Before using this program

make sure the microphone is connected to your PC/laptop.

How to open Sound Recorder

1. Click All Program Accessories

How to record sound using Sound Recorder

1. Before using Sound Recorder, make sure microphone is

connected to the computer and turned on.

2. When you open the program, a window as shown in Picture 2 will

appear.

3. To start recording, click the record button. (Picture 3)

4. Using the microphone, read the text below to

record.

For example :

The clock in the class,

Goes tick, tick, tick.

The cradle in the room,

Goes crick, crick ,crick

5. To stop recording, click the stop button as in Picture 4.

6. When recording stop, the window will appear as shown in Picture

5. Click play button to listen to what you have recorded.
