Let the Bulb Cool Off!

Or else the bulb will explode after a short life!

Be sure to let the fan cool the bulb after the lamp power is turned off…

Projection Unit Hints

• Always face the class.– Aim screen so you can see class while look at display.

• Never read your presentation from the slides!• Print handouts of the PowerPoint slides.– Don't force your students to copy projected info.

• Always prepare for the worst (make back-up plans): – Have a backup copy of your PowerPoint slides.– Print out copies of your slides on transparencies.– Carry a spare bulb. Bulbs burn out at the worst possible

times.

• Don't run on battery. Plug PC in!• Turn off the screen saver.– Right-click over a blank area of the desktop and

select the "screen saver" tab.• Turn off/down power management options.– In the control panel, select power management.

Adjust settings to "never."
