Dear Sir or Madam ! It has been nearly 15 years ago, since one evening when we were leaving our contemporary work and going to renovate the room intended for MOFO architectural office. We did not even suppose then that we will be able to create a new, employing over 30 employees organization, within such a short period of time. The place, where ideas, concepts and dreams come into existence / come true. MOFO Architects has been established in 1997 by Paweł Zieliński, Piotr Frączek, Krzysztof Wużyk and Zygmunt Wiążewski. Basing on the knowledge, given us by our architectural mentors coming from Krakow, Madrid, Knoxville and London, we strive for the perfection and the systematic improvement during designing and realization of private residences, shopping centers, mixed-use structures , industrial and public utility plants.We manage whole design process, including concept works as well as preparation services connected with building permit application of few shopping centers and public utility projects. There is nearly 500 000 m2 total surface of facilities designed by us. In 2005 we have finished the realization of our own Headquartres with the surface of 550 m2. Now, a team of 26 architects is working there. In 2006, company under the name of MOFO M&E came into existence. There are employed experienced designers of all branches, what has significant impact on the coordination and control of the executed projects. Establishment of MOFO Management company appears as the next step of the advancement of MOFO group. The company is engaged in the realization of the designed buildings. The activity of Mofo Management is aimed at a full service of the investment process, running project management and costs control. Currently, there are 4 persons employed by MOFO Management.

In the first rank of our greatest achievements are: triumph at International Architecture Biennale in Krakow, where in 2000 we won First Award and Grand Prix, and bringing the private residence in Krakow to realization. During the work on two bigger mixed public utility complexes in Krakow and Budapest as well as managing smaller projects, we focus on acting according to the main rule of Biennale. Beauty, Ethics and Ecology – appear as our signpost during fulfilling every project task. We claim, that regardless of whether it concerns big commercial spaces or smaller urban centres, architecture should support internal social nature of the man. Our office offers the architecture that is aimed at determining of the framework of activity of each of us, in which we can carry our values out. o a considerable extent, implementation of stiff patterns stops the spontaneity and deprives a magnitude of opportunities space. Working on public utility complexes lies in finding these spaces, where the existing and future opportunities will be able to find better environment for ensuring the growth and the expression. We are aware, that by ‘touching’ the city, we change its potential and the quality of the opportunities. We give up conventional concept of the urban plan. Its development, restrained by the context, appears to be superficial and does not respect people aspiration of creativity. We have observed that that term ‘town-planning’ stiffens everybody at once and is the end of the invention. Under the yoke of this definition, people stop thinking creatively. They feel that everything has been changed and designed. Obviously, our idea does not mean that the complex of the designed forms will be withdrawn and alienated from the city. However we do not want it to be merged into the context and to stay unnoticed. In every design, we seek this delicate formula, which allows to give the value, having significant impact on the expression of every place.
