This Tuesday we welcome the Minister of Education, Mr Adrian Piccoli to Bourke Public School. It will be a excellent opportunity for our school to showcase our programs and achievements. Intensive swimming continues this week. Infants have one more week left to focus on their water confidence. During week 9 & 10 we are holding a Book Fair in the library. We are encouraging reading over the Christmas holidays by promoting a deal to buy one book and get a second book free (for the same price). It will be my pleasure to host lunch on Tuesday this week for 59 students who made it onto the Platinum level in our merit system. Well done to all of these students! Semester 2 student reports will be completed and ready to pick up on Monday 7th December after 3pm from the front office. Parent/carer and teacher interviews are being held on Wednesday 9th December at Bourke Public School. Appointments can be made from 5pm to 8pm. Please call the office to make an appointment with your child/children’s teachers. Don’t forget Presentation Night is coming up on Tuesday 8th December and will start at 6pm at the High School hall. I’m sure the infants students who are off to Cobar Pool this Friday for the attendance excursion will have a fantastic time! Have a super week! Kylie Pennell
Miss Milgate K-2 students are continuing with our intensive swimming program this
