Monday Message February 25, 2019 Parent Teacher Interviews – March 12 th & 13 th A reminder that the doodle sign-up will open tomorrow at 4 p.m. for parents to sign up for an interview with your child’s teacher. The doodle sign-up will be active until Tuesday, March 5 th . Kindness Challenge Last Wednesday students participated in a Together Time where they focused on the big idea of Kindness. Each student created a heart that became a part of the Kindness Tree that is "growing" in the hallway. Next time you are in the school please come look at it. Each student also took home a copy of The Westview Kindness Challenge. Students were given a list of 50 acts of kindness and they were challenged to complete as many as they could in one week. Students are asked to return their signed sheets - with as many boxes checked off as they could manage - to the office before the Pink Shirt Day assembly on Wednesday, February 27 th at 9:00am. Pink Shirt Day – Wednesday, February 27 th In support of Pink Shirt Day on Wednesday, February 27 th , we encourage everyone to practice kindness and wear pink to symbolize that you do not tolerate bullying. http://pinkshirtday.ca/
